6 Month Contract Role: Business Information/MIS Analyst. Expert SQL
Job Description:
Work in a team of experienced information analysts in providing Management Information, Financial Regulatory Reporting and Credit Provisioning Reporting for AIB..* Expert knowledge using SQL is required
The services to be offered across the Information team will include:
* Providing a central core of expertise in both technical query tools and business context.
* Understanding both the data model and business processes.
* Facilitating the requirement to produce and maintain both standard and specialised reports.
* Providing a core pool of expertise/centre of excellence in various information analysis tools that can demonstrate best practice across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
* Requirements analysis and prototyping capabilities
* The definition and modelling of new business processes
* The definition of calculations for aggregating data and information
* The definition of reports for aggregating data and information
* Manage relationships with the business ensuring that the data is interpreted and validated correctly and work with them to develop improved data processes.
* Ensure the information analysis is carried out in line with the documented data standards.
* Understand how data is organised within database/file management systems and how to access/manage it appropriately.
Skills
* Business Analysis skills
* Proficient use of Teradata SQL
* Relational Database Design
* Knowledge of BRIO, MS Access, OLAP Technology
* Report Writing skills (Business, Functional, Technical and Testing specifications)
* User Acceptance Testing skills
