TITLE: EDI (Gentran) Administrator

Location: Atlanta GA (mid-town)
Type: Contract/12months +/W2 Only
Rate: Market/Competitive
Benefits: Optional

The successful candidate will become a member of the Open Enterprise Systems group. This candidate will be expected to serve as a team member in the EDI Team in a complex, mission-critical computing environment spanning primarily Unix/Linux with limited Mainframe technologies. The work associated with this position will be divided evenly between new projects and support activities. Part of the project work will include the implementation of new B2B services utilizing SI/GIS, as well as upgrading SI/GIS from v4.3 to v5. Other responsibilities will include rolling out new communication functionality within SI/GIS, supporting the existing SI/GIS and supporting the existing EDI communications infrastructure.

This candidate must be able to work in a 24x7 environment with on-call duties. The candidate will be expected to interface with customers, internal and external business partners, third-party suppliers and vendors; assist in designing the corporate EDI and B2B architecture as required for installed and proposed systems; adhere to the established change control policies and prescribed procedures; produce documentation and procedures regarding the proper use and operation of the corporate EDI and B2B infrastructure.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3+ years of SI/GIS administration, BP development and implementation as well as mapping in Application Integrator in a corporate environment
3+ years of Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting experience
Sterling Integrator/Gentran Integration Suite (SI/GIS) v5.x or v4.3 administration in a Unix or Linux environment
Application Integrator (SI/GIS v4.3) mapping experience with XML to EDI, EDI to XML, APP to EDI and EDI to APP
SI/GIS business process (BP) development/configuration experience
SI/GIS perimeter server configuration experience
Implementation knowledge/experience of SI/GIS communication protocols and mail-boxing for FTP, SFTP and AS2

NICE TO HAVE (.....but not required)
File/Data communication experience: Secure FTP (SFTP or FTP/S), AS2, PGP, WebSphere MQ
Experience on Red Hat Linux, AIX, and Solaris
C programming
BPML, XPATH
Mainframe skills: Cobol, CICS, TSO, IDMS, VSAM, JCL, ChangeMan
