We are currently looking for 3 Merit Review Officers for a NSW Government client based in the CBD. All three roles are 12 month contracts which will see you managing the dispute resolution process for applications and making decisions in relation to the applications under review. You will also collate documentation to assist in the review process, liaise with key stakeholders, and speak with representatives of interested parties.

Ideally, you will come from a workers compensation or return to work background nad be able to use your experience and knowledge in this role. You should be familiar with new workers compensation legislation and requirements and have a good understanding of the insurance claim process.

You have probably previously worked with an insurance company in a claims officer or case officer role. You will also be customer focussed and work well in a team environment. Communication and organisation will be a key part o this role, and thus you should have strong skills in both.
