Project Engineer/Mechanical Services Engineer
Location: Loughborough
Rate: circa £40.00 per hour
12 Month Contract

The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in innovative global technology solutions as a Project Engineer. The company is committed to developing practical technology solutions to improve global healthcare.
The role:
The Project Engineer will work on a number of capital investment projects across the Loughborough site. Projects will be a mix of installation of manufacturing equipment, plant support services, building services installations, facility refurbishment works and plant installation works.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for investigation and liaison to establish project scope, preparing engineering specifications, procurement and cost estimating, project management, budget control, supplier selection and management, and managing the installation and commissioning of equipment. In addition to this the Project Engineer may also be involved in validation of pharmaceutical equipment as required.
The Candidate:
As a Project Engineer, you should have experience of managing and delivering capital projects within a manufacturing environment. Ideally you will be have worked within a pharmaceutical, GMP or chemical manufacturing environment but candidates who have a strong project engineer background in other industries will also be strongly considered.
As you will be working on a working manufacturing site an understanding of UK Health and Safety Legislations is essential for this role.
