Finance Lead
My client, a leading Retail Banking organisation, is looking for a Finance Analyst/Lead to work in their Head Office in Manchester. Candidates from backgrounds such as Project Accountants, Project Analyst, Finance Analyst or PMO Analysts with particular experience of having worked in a Finance department would all be considered owing to the strong focus on financial reporting capability (forecasts, spend, control).
The key responsibilities are;
* Control financial specs within the PMO team
* Forecasting, approving funding and financial risks
* Using and recommending project finance control solutions for planning and tracking projects
* Supporting programme or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings
* Working with Finance business Partner to manage and report finances up to central Finance function
* Working with Business and Finance Partners, to track benefits realised by release against the business case
Essential Skills;
* Proven track record of working within a traditional PMO function
* Working with people from business areas such as Finance
* Excellent Analytical and Excel skills
* Experience of having worked within a highly regulated environment
* Retail Banking experience -would be a distinct advantage
