An Electronic Hardware Designer is needed for a high-tech enterprise specialising in the development and production of custom-build linear DC accelerators for scientific and industrial applications. This is an initial 12 month contract, then with scope to extend or turn into permanent position. Location is in the Netherlands.Job Description:
The Electronic Hardware Designer will be responsible for the complete design of electronic hardware products, ranging from signal processing to analogue power electronics. Besides definition of design specifications, design concepts and PCB design, you will conduct experimental tests and evaluate results to verify performance and prepare proper design and support documentation. As part of the multidisciplinary design team, you will work together with the disciplines of physics, software, logistics, manufacturing, mechanical engineering and test & installation. Work will consist of new projects, modification of existing designs, documentation and troubleshooting.
Job Requirement:
• Msc or Bsc in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Track record in electronic hardware design in an industrial environment
• Experience in power electronics Analogue / SMPS
• Creative, pragmatic and result oriented personality
• Good communication skills in English (and Dutch preferably)
