Your Tasks:

  • Responsible for the administration, setup, monitoring and maintenance of our Linux Server
  • Maintain large quantity of Windows systems (composed of user workstations)
  • Provide 1st - 3rd level support to our users
  • Maintain system performance through ongoing monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems
  • Responsible for IT security
  • Responsible for the technical infrastructure of our offices in Berlin and Lisbon
  • Co-ordinate the workload of the IT team as well as set tasks in order to achieve team goals
  • Mentor and supervise the trainees in our IT department

Your Profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years prior experience as a Linux System Administrator, Windows/ Mac knowledge are a plus
  • You have an excellent degree in Computer Science or an apprenticeship
  • Up-to-date knowledge with Asterisk 1.8 and skilled in Proxmox and VMWare
  • You have a deep practical knowledge of server administration and you are familiar with Cisco products
  • You are a driven, motivated individual with a strong customer focus and a structured approach to work
  • You are certified to train according to AdA in the area of IT systems electronics
  • You have excellent communication skills in both German and English
