Description
My client is looking for a Chief Wifi Engineer.
Role:
- You plan and coordinate investigations into the wifi systems, feasibility studies and surveys
- You interface with the operations department and provide guidance, advice and leadership in troubleshooting main incidents
- You ensure a coherent end-to-end wifi/radius architecture
- You are aware of the vendor SLA requirements and manage the vendor to operate within these SLA's
- You verify independently the operational readiness, develop test procedures to ensure that newly deployed systems/services are correctly deployed and monitored
- You manage major technical escalations related to the wifi/radius systems to senior management and provide updates in an appropriate way
- You provide leadership and mentoring of the non-senior engineers to ensure that they increase in their technical knowledge and capabilities
- You maintain and build proper documentation of wifi and radius server setups
Profile:
- You have a master's degree in information technology or computer/electrical engineering
- You have 7 years experience in the telecom industry
- You are a good communicator (oral, written, presenting) and an excellent teamplayer
- You take ownership and can work hands-on when necessary
- You can manage a high workload and you are an expert in multitasking
- You have an expert knowledge of wifi protocols and a deep understanding of radius
- You are a specialist in TCP/IP and associated protocols
- You are result-oriented and customer driven
