Responsibilities:Reviewing claim activity based on industry best practices and assessing compliance of best practices
Developing strategies on Legacy claims older than 12 months to either resolve claim or control costs
Evaluating reserve and settlement exposure.
Reviewing appropriateness of legal strategy
Reviewing files according to industry best practices.
Developing detailed action plans to bring the claims to resolution.
Discussing appropriate reserve and settlement figures with clients.
SKILLS:
Qualifications:
At least 2 full years of experience adjusting lost-time and litigated claims is required.
3+ years of adjusting experience
Must have experience with high severity claims and in managing the litigation and settlement of those claims.
Must have at least 3 years' experience working with litigated Workers' Compensation claims.
Must have claim adjusting experience in Workers' Compensation.
