Chief Commercial Office - CCO - Sales Director - Banking - Payments

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Commercial Officer to join a market leading financial services client. This role has the possibility of converting to permanent at the end of the contract if agreeable by all parties.

As a key contributor to the leadership of the business, you will have direct responsibility for Sales and business development, revenue, profit contribution, 3rd Party relations, joint ventures and acquisitions. This includes acquisition of new accounts and you will take personal responsibility for ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

From a sales point of view the client is engaging with banks, merchants, acquirers and distributors, so if you have experience in this industry it would be very beneficial.

The successful candidate needs to have gravitas and be able to represent the client at major customer meetings, you must be an excellent communicator, someone with drive and passion that will make things happen and drive the team forward. Someone who can motivate and inspire the team to perform is also essential.

The successful candidate will also have the following skills and experience:

* Leading and motivating a sales team, including best practice and embedding a revenue and customer focused sales approach.
* Selection, selling and marketing to the banking and retail sector.
* Experience in the banking, finance, IT or telecoms industry,
* Experienced business leader operating at Managing Director level.
* Experience of successfully forming joint ventures
* Experience in mergers and acquisitions.
* Excellent leadership, negotiation, management, problem solving and interpersonal skills
* An ability to make important decisions under pressure and balance delivery and quality to ensure that the corporate reputation and product proposition are not misrepresented.
* Willing to both lead at high level and be hands on as needed
