SC Cleared Cost Analyst - 5+ month contract - Derby (with travel to Manchester and Bristol)
Carry out an audit of a Nuclear Propulsion programme at the client based in Derbyshire, with some time in the beginning preparing for the audit based in Bristol and Manchester.
- Prepare engagement plan, review programme and audit protocols for the Incurred Cost Audit and the study into and manufacturing maturity.
The Audit is to include:
- Identifying reasons behind any differences in the data supplied to the MoD via the various reports;
- Working with the project teams to identify the type and level of evidence that will be required to support the required maturity at Main Gate;
- Working with the project teams to understand the structure and maturity of the programme (schedule);
- Carrying out an analysis to confirm that the EVM data shown an accurate picture;
- Deployment of Embedded analysis process;
- Carry out a first study aligned to the required main gate design and manufacturing maturity challenge;
- Prepare reports of findings and learnings.
Key Skills
- Knowledge of a design environment and an EVM process is required;
- Experience of cost auditing;
- Knowledge of estimating would be useful;
- A working knowledge of how a design process is linked into the procurement of products and services;
- Ability to work in a multi stakeholder environment; and
- Packaging and presenting findings to key stakeholders.
