My client is a leading Belgian Consultancy and is looking to recruit a Software Architect for there offices in the Antwerp region. The Software Architect will act as both the developer and Architect during the concept and design phases.
Responsibilities
- Participates in software proof-of-concept development and prototyping
- Participates in the project feasibility and SW design phase
- Translates high level marketing requirements into top level design requirements
- Creates use case descriptions, architectural diagrams, flow diagrams.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Experienced with SW development in Ruby
- Experience with NoSQL database development: MongoDB and Redis
- Experience with Sinatra web application framework (or Ruby on Rails)
- Experience with Javascript development (e.g. D3.js)
- Experience with REST web service API design
- Experienced with application development for the Amazon Web Services platform (EC2/S3/…)
- Experience with application/server monitoring (e.g. NewRelic) is a plus
- Experience with web related security aspects (knowledge of XSS, XSRF, input validation,…)
- Experience with security related protocols (SSL/certificates/…)
- Experience with the Linux OS
