Freelance WordPress Developer (remote)

Description

We’re a small dev shop based in Cary, NC looking to bring aboard 1-2 additional WordPress/PHP experts to join our small team on a contract basis initially with potential for part-time or full-time employment.

Qualifications:

Strong background in WordPress development and best practices.

Experience with MySQL is not mandatory, but you must understand how your PHP can affect MySQL and performance.

Understanding of jQuery / Javascript, CSS, HTML5

Experience in building custom solutions

Interest in the entrepreneurial challenges and growth opportunities

Knowledge of Git and SVN

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and in a team

You can work from wherever you feel comfortable, but you should live in the Triangle area and willing to sometimes meet and work at our Cary office location. You will have flexible work hours and receive a competitive compensation based on your experience.
