Mechanical Fitter
My Client, A leading Oil and Gas organisation based in Great Yarmouth is urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team for an initial 12 months. Previous experience of Mechanical Fitting is essential along with a forklift license. A full UK Driving licence is also essential for this position.
This is a full time 12 month contract.
Fitter responsibilities include:
- Assemble and Test Company equipment to a high standard adhering the EHS & Quality policies and procedures in a timely manner. With secondary task to be able to flex between other assemble and test departments.
- Assembly and test of equipment ensuring policies and procedures are stringently adhered to prevent EHS issues which should be carried out in a timely manner as per the work order routings.
- Ensuring that area of work is maintained hazard free and tidy in accordance with 5S principles'
- Producing & updating relevant documentation on work.
- Raising written EHS and Quality concerns.
- Producing quality goods within routing time constraints.
- Also expected to help with house keeping duties and constant base improvements.
Mechanical Fitter Skills required:
- Forklift/Banks man Slinger License
- Driving License
- Mechanically Minded
