Role: Senior Software Engineer - Java
Duration: 6 months
Location: Galway
Daily Rate: €380 - €400
Very interesting Java contract position open with a leading technology company, based in Financial Services. This position will see you join an already established team working on the design, development and implementation of a directory Intranet site. This is a highly used application and is viewed as a key tool by business users. You will work closely with project managers, design team, other developers and QA testers to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
Key Skills:
o A minimum of 5 years' experience with Java (J2EE) and related technologies
o Experience using JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Prototype, YUI)
o Experience working with UI technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) in a multi-browser environment
o Experience using Oracle DB is desirable
o Experience working on prototypes is desirable
