Description
The Software Application Technician is a resource is required to work with the platform and application teams to build out and support the infrastructure stack (databases, WebLogic/tomcat Servers, webservers, monitors) in multiple lower environments as well as in production. These activities include installation of software, assistance with deployments and releases of the application code-base, and troubleshooting with deployment/shakeout errors.
Additional responsibilities may include configuration/setup of new software tools in various proof-of-concept tests within the Fannie Mae technology ecosystem.
Candidate will be needed to support configuration for troubleshooting and job execution and to work with release management to support code deployments and assist release testing. This resource will work as a Technology Operations Expert between application and platform teams to proactively identify any gaps during the development phase and will mitigate risks of post deployment issues.

Must have excellent application and production support skills along with good troubleshooting skills.
Candidates should have 7-9 years of experience and come from a production or operations support background with good communication skills for following up on troubleshooting issues.
