Security Consultant - Brussels, Belgium - English speaking - 6 months +
One of our blue chip clients is urgently looking for a Security Consultant.
The requested skills are:
SOLID APPLICATION LEVEL SECURITY EXPERTISE AND RELATED MITIGATIONS.
IN-DEPTH EXPERIENCE IN SECURING WEB SITES AND WEB APPLICATIONS.
SECURITY CERTIFICATION.
EXPERIENCE WITH ARA.
EXPERIENCE IN SECURE CODING PRACTICES.
The scope of work is as follows:
My client is looking for a security contractor who would have to perform the following tasks, with the help of other staff:
Help/Guide implementation teams to ensure security requirements (developed by another staff member) are appropriately understood and appropriately implemented within internal specific projects.
These projects would typically be about developing/deploying Internet facing web sites or internal applications (Intranet/office automation). That would also cover mobile technology, specifically iOS devices.
Support and/or guide intrusion tests through activities such as:
o Understanding business flows and application design.
o Scenario definition for intrusion test
o Oversee execution of intrusion tests executed by external companies.
o Based on the reporting fin dings, perform risk assessment according to client processes and procedures
Additional to the primary tasks described here above, the contractor would also provide guidance on tuning relevant detection operational controls in close cooperation with the operational team (Office Environment and client website).
