Senior Software Engineer (JAVA) Contract Dublin 6 months
Cutting edge technology project! Challenging role!
Our client in Dublin is looking for experienced JAVA DEVELOPER for 6 months contract with likelihood for extension.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- development of web application using Spring Framework 3, Hiberate and ExtJS
- writing unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito
- implementation of all application layers eg, presentation, business and data
- conducting/participating in requirements, design and code reviews
- contributing the existing team knowledge
- suggesting new technologies, tools to improve quality, shorten delivery time lines
- contributing to product design by suggesting features to Product Owner
- helping Operation Team to resolve production issues
- writing technical documentation
Skills required:
- proven experience with Java, Spring Framework 3, Hibernate and SQL
- Web Application development background with some of the technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Prototype, ExtJS, JSP, Strust, JSON
- Object-oriented-design, design patterns
Nice to have:
- REST based Web Services Architectures
- Spring Security, Spring Batch
- JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, MySQL,
