SAP Program Manager - English Speaking - Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
My client in Amsterdam, The Netherlands is looking for an SAP Program Manager.
Required Experience:
Hard:-
* Managed a SAP programme in the excess of 50 mio, with 10+ sub-projects
* Managed excess of 80 people from multiple vendors, including outsourcing
* 10+ years of relevant experience
* 4+ Full life cycle SAP programmes
Soft:-
* Ruthless focus on execution/delivery, with follow-through and demonstrated capability of implementing the organization to deliver on this
* Completer finisher, manages in the details
* Thrives in ambiguity, self starter, self manager, can set priorities, organization capabilities
* Brings energy to the team
* Strategic and tactical planner and thinker
* Politically savvy
* Strong in communication
Required knowledge (general)
* Comprehensive knowledge of project management concepts, processes and techniques including PRINCE II
* Demonstrated strong issue/problem resolution abilities - ability to think creatively and systematically to resolve issues
* Strong stakeholder/relationship management - good relationships in place with key individuals in local operating companies (ability to get things done')
* Demonstrated challenging approach - ability to challenge team on best approach, whether the timescales are appropriate and whether client's business interests are adequately safeguarded
* Experience in procurement/supply chain organizations, preferably in the FMCG industry.
* Understanding of the Commodities marketplace, including complexity in regulatory requirements
Description of activities
For the program XXX we are looking for a global program manager to manage the following activities:
* Deliverables tracking for multi stream (Flight) SAP heavy program.
* Align with suppliers and internal stakeholders to coordinate large, independent teams working on overlapping deliverables to achieve on time delivery.
* Provide detailed management reports of status and requirements to key business players.
Background:
XXX is undergoing a multi-year, all region centralization of purchasing and procurement activities. Within this global change a complex IT landscape must be harmonized and new business organizational units must be included in XXXs global IT.
English Speaking Assignment.
Start: 9th June 2014.
7 Month+ Contract.
Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
