Description
Proteus Europe operating as an employment business, is currently seeking an IT Systems Expert for one of our presitigious clients based in Paris.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Tracking and monitoring backups
- Troubleshooting and problems (support level 2 and 3)
- Projects to improve existing services
- Escalating when necessary to outsourcer or publisher and monitoring resolution
- Coordination and implementation of operations and changes into production
- Writing and improved operating procedures (in English)
- Monitoring of the quality of service
- Monitoring of resource capacity (Physical Server, storage) .
- Specifying operation requirements ( monitoring, logs, compliance with production tools and process)
- Maintain the standard desktop image of The Company
- Develop, test and deploy desktop application packages
- Advising/Feed Back to Design authority on platforms design
Education and qualifications:
- English (fluent in written and spoken to B2 level ore equivalent)
- University or college degree in computer engineering, computer science, physics or mathematics or a related discipline or
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
Knowledge and skills:
- Windows: Exchange, Active Directory, Exchange, WDS, DFS, DAG, VMWare, Symantec
- Operating Systems: Windows 2k and Windows 7
- Databases: MS SQL Server
- IIS
- Methodology: ITIL
- Shell Programming
- LDAP
- Networks
- Virtualization
- Monitoring (Nagios, Centreon, BMC Patrol)
- Backup Solutions (Backup Exec)
- Unix knowledge and Shell Scripting would be an advantage.
