Service Desk Analyst

Our client is a leading IT Managed Service Company based in Sussex there client base is constantly growing and to meet demand they require an additional experienced IT Support Engineer to join their IT service desk and field support team.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing 1st/2nd/3rd line support for their clients this will involve telephone and remote support when possible and onsite visits when required.

You will support users from 10 to 500 users and be responsible for supporting their Windows environments including desktop, server, printer and telephony support.

You will need to maintain excellent customer service at all times.

You will have the opportunity to shadow senior engineers who deliver project and implementations enabling you to learn and develop in this area.

Technical Skills required

As a Microsoft Partner you will mostly be supporting the Windows stack including:

  • Desktop XP, Vista, Windows7
  • Server 2003, 2008, 2012
  • Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010
  • Active Directory

Additionally you will support various IP telephony systems and printers as part of a full IT outsource team.
