Description:
This role is for one of the biggest brands in their industry. They currently have an opportunity for an SAP FI Consultant to join their Financial Applications team. This is a varied role with tasks ranging from setting up new functionalities in SAP, customizing or modifying existing functionality, integrating with other SAP modules and 3rdparty systems, providing support and training to users by resolving incidents and delivering change. You will be responsible for the day-to-day SAP support, together with other team members of the Financial Systems team. Besides support, you will be responsible for projects – covering all aspects, from planning, coordinating, customizing and training end users for the change, as a functional project lead as well as a project team member. As this role involves extensive daily interaction with the finance department, it is essential you have strong knowledge of financial systems and processes, and strong communication skills in English.
Requirements:
- minimum 4 years SAP experience
- Functional experience in SAP FI, GL, AA, AR and AP
- Able to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines, and comfortable working in a quick turnaround environment
- Integration with MM, BW, & HCM Payrol is desirable but not necessary
- Knowledge of ABAP is desirable but not necessary
- Knowledge of Collection management, Bank communication management, Treasury and Risk Management or Cash management will be an advantage
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
