Description
IMMEDIATE HIRE for a Network Engineer with some Security/Firewall experience! This is a 12 month contract position with the work able to be done remotely. Qualified individual will be someone highly technical that has Cradle to grave experience building networks. Must have exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
REQUIRED:
1. A minimum of 5 years of Network Engineering (configuration, design, test) and (basic) architecture design skills in diverse Enterprise level Data Center environments.
2. Routing and Switching experience (troubleshooting, configuration) using Cisco. Experience with CheckPoint and/or Juniper also required.
3. Gathering and documenting existing client network and device information into a workbook that will be leveraged to develop the migration plan.
4. Support Network and Firewall Engineering in the development of the Engineering Work Order (EWO) and Firewall Changes.
5. Ability to work with peer engineers and account teams to complete complex network projects.
6. Strong requirements on gathering and documentation of network environments and communicating with internal groups that information.
7. Respond to requests for technical information from Lead Engineers, Project Managers and Account Representatives.
8. Extensive knowledge on Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
9. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

EDUCATION:
4 year degree in Computer Science related field.
