Recently Qualified Accountant required for initial contract role with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Chester, Excellent Rates available

You will be part of Corporate Reporting which is responsible for legal entity management and corporate reporting of the Capital Markets business of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Europe and preparation of statutory accounts of the UK based entities (over 150 legal entities).

You will be positive, enthusiastic and have a corporate background to hit the ground running within this major tier one investment banking giant.

The team is responsible for:
*Month end close including journal preparation to support US close and generate UK GAAP accounts
*Support monthly reporting cycle including reporting pack production, various P&L, expense and balance sheet reviews
*Monthly controls, covering legal entity close controls,
*Statutory Reporting supporting production of annual financial statements
*Responsibility for production of semi-annual and annual financial statements
*Liaising with external auditors
*Provision of financial information for Regulatory
*Working with UK regulatory reporting team to support FSA return production.
*Assist on wide variety of ad hoc projects
*Managing legal entity reference information.

*Have accountancy experience ideally within a banking background or a corporate environment.
