Microsoft Active Directory - Dutch Or French Speaking
Our client has identified a need to improve its implementation of Microsoft Active Directory used for authentication and related services.
Following internal discussions, we have identified a number of requirements which need to be addressed in order to improve the tasks of internal service and delivery and security.
Within this context the need for an external consultant has been identified to work on the tasks and provide a report and recommendations for how these improvements can be made.
Mission Description:
The mission shall be comprised of the following practical tasks & deliverables:
- Familiarisation of the client's ICT environment (organisation, stakeholders, processes, etc.)
- Identification of internal stakeholders.
- Gathering of needs and expectations of the identified stakeholders.
- Formalisation of the requirements within a document which clearly shows importance levels allocated to each.
- Analysis of the requirements to identify possible approaches (minimum 2) which can address the requirements.
- Utilisation of a prioritisation (eg Cost/Benefit or SWOT) mechanism which can be used to prioritise and clearly demonstrate a recommended approach.
- Review of the current Active Directory services implementation and internal processes to check the impact of the recommended approach on our client's internal services.
- Creation of a final report which shall show the following:
Study scope
Identified requirements
Requirements analysis conclusion
Recommended approach
Impact analysis conclusion
Identified risks
- Presentation of the conclusion to management, infrastructure, systems, and security stakeholders.
Required Skills:
The person most apt to perform this mission should be competent and experienced in the general domain of ICT systems and security with specific experience as follows:
- Microsoft Active Directory services
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementations on a practical level
- IAM and ICT Security within the following domains (which are relevant to our client's current technical architecture):-
Systems: Windows (PC's & Servers), HP Unix & Linux Servers, standalone & virtualised
Storage: SAN & LAN based storage
Network: Cisco equipment
DB: Oracle & MS SQL
Applications:
- Microsoft Office & typical enterprise applications
- Industrial control systems
- Microsoft Framework developed (.Net) applications
- Knowledge of the current trends of IAM, both as marketed by the most well known suppliers, and also what is being implemented within companies with similar size to our client.
- Documentation and analysis of business requirements
- Business and communication skills in order to implicate the impacted business and technical stakeholders correctly, and present the final report.
- This technical experience should be supplemented by the relevant certification (eg Microsoft) in the domain of Active Directory services.
