SOA/ESB Architect - IT Architecture - Technical Writer - French + English

For the IT Architecture department of one of our customers we are looking for a SOA/ESB Architect to support the roll out of SOA/ESB in the various IT teams with practical guidelines, templates and to support the related change management.

The person will be responsible to deliver guidelines for IT Architects, Analysts, Designers and testers, plus a management approach to drive the change with coherence (communication, training, follow up of progresses)

The person will deliver, in 3 weeks-sprints
Guidelines

  • Architecture guidelines for our SOA/ESB approach (finalize the existing body of knowledge, patterns & anti-patterns, naming conventions, required metadata, link with IAM)
  • Guidelines for analysts (requirements for an information drive approach, not a DB-driven approach; secure development requirements, input for non- regression testing)
  • Guidelines for designers and developers (rules for XML conversion, toolbox to use)
  • Guidelines for performance, traceability and monitoring at run time

Governance definition and support

  • Definition and management of the Service Catalogue
  • Governance principles (eg one service belongs to a domain; analysis are done by the analyst of that domain; projects notify service owners of the services the project will re-use ; versioning; building permits; roles and responsibilities between IT stakeholders)

Communication kit and training material

Your profile - You must speak fluent FRENCH and ENGLISH. Dutch is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Architecture
  • Field experience in SOA/ESB projects
  • Experience in workshop facilitation, coordination, and as technical writer.

  • Service catalog management
  • Implementation, maintenance, incident management (ie field experience to identify pain points in architecture landscape)

  • Good Communication and influencing skills
  • Autonomy, commitment and perseverance
