Description
A global research based pharmaceutical company is looking for a Formulation Scientist (German speaking) to support the development and commercialisation of manufacturing processes for new products being brought onto the market.Location: Basel area, Switzerland
Duration: 6 months +
Role and Responsibilities:
• Development of new solid dose formulation processes (granulation, melt extrusion, powder handling, tableting, coating…)
• Optimise formulation processes to ensure robustness and cost efficiency
• Carry out the scale-up, transfer and validation of processes from R&D scale manufacture to commercial manufacture
• Liaise closely with production users to ensure that processes are GMP compliant post-transfer
Requirements:
• Degree educated in Pharmacy, Chemistry or similar
• Fluent in German and English
• Experience in the development, optimisation and scale-up of pharmaceutical solid dose formulation processes
