Your tasks:
- Develop strategies for contract and claim management within the project and ensure consistent application of our claim management processes and strategies
- Management of claims and claim-related issues at construction site
- Reporting to Project- and Contract Management
- Preparation of correspondence w.r.t. claim and/or time related issues
- Documentation of claims and claim-related issues
- Development of strategies for the enforcement/defense of claims
- Regular review and evaluation of claim potentials
- Participation in negotiations
- Collaboration with other disciplines, in particular Project Management, Engineering, Site Management, Subcontractor Management, Time Scheduling, Commercial
- International contracts (also FIDIC, NEC, Orgalime etc.)
Your qualifications
- University degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent Bachelor or Master
- Profound, practical experience as Contract or Claim Manager in international turn-key projects (preferably with Anglo-American contract/claim background)
- Familiar with main types of engineering, construction and time claims
- Detailed knowledge of sub-contractor management procedures
- High level of English language skills incl. business, contractual terms and negotiation
- Able to work independently and as a team member in a well-structured and systematic way, self-motivated, assertive, capable to work under pressure
- Mobile and motivated to work as part of a multinational team on project site in KSA
