Role: Strategic Communications Manager

Our London based government client is looking for a senior communications professional with a solid strategic communications experience to join them on a contract basis. Whilst strategic communications planning will be critical to the role, the successful candidate will also be required to undertake a variety of traditional comms tasks, including briefing ministers, advising on and undertaking speechwriting and advising on campaign work
Experience required
-Internal & external communications experience at a senior level
-strategic communications planning experience
-excellent stakeholder management capabilities (experience of dealing with a supply chain useful)
-Strong general management skills and the ability to coach and up-skill colleagues with little (or zero) specialist communications experience
-Digital experience from a communication standpoint
-Mix of public and private sector experience desirable and ideally within large organisations
