Global Financial Markets (GFM) Operations IT is a department within IT Systems & Development which is responsible for the functional management of a series of applications for the FXMM, Derivatives, Securities/Fixed Income and Loans market. The main applications process financial products on markets described above.
Our department is servicing these systems for both the local clients and the foreign offices (eg New York, Singapore, Sydney), and therefore must ensure the systems are available 24 hours a day. GFM Operations IT is working closely together with the business to develop and review new requirements requested by users of the supported applications. This covers the full spectrum of servicing the Back Office of wholesale banking environment.
Your function
GFM Operations IT is looking for a enthusiastic, talented, self motivated, fast learning Developer with excellent development skills (C#/ASP.NET). You will be part of the Regulator Reporting Solution team within GFM OpsIT. The candidate has the knowledge and skills to address topics at all stages of an information system's life cycle (requirement analysis, architecture design, realization, maintenance and decommissioning). He/She will be working closely with business experts to help define requirements, provides estimates and a planning. The developer takes responsibility for building the software but are also engaged in refining and reviewing requirements with business analysts or the product owner. He/She supports testers in designing and implementing (automated) tests. With the rest of the team they are involved in planning and estimating iterations and share responsibility in the execution of the iteration. Furthermore, it is expected that the candidate provides 3rd line support when needed.
Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
- Hands on experience with C#, ASP.NET, SQL (MUST)
- Experience with MVC (PRE)
- Knowlegde of relational databases (SQL Server) (MUST)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum (PRE)
- Education HBO/WO (NL) or College (UK), preferably in Business, Economics and/or Information Technology. (PRE) Minimaal HBO is een MUST.
- 40 hours contract
