Financial Planning Manager
Contract Position - 3 months - £550 - £650 per day.
The Company Background
The Wealth (Private Banking) businesses have strong brands and are very well positioned in their markets. They offer banking and investment services to wealthy private and business customers in the UK and around the world. Services include investment and portfolio management, tax, trust and estate planning, and stock-broking. They also serve offshore corporate and financial institutions.
The Role
- The key support for the co-ordination and delivery of the annual Strategic Plan and Budget financial planning processes and requirements for the Wealth Division.
- Provide control and governance for the Hyperion Planning (HP) system for the Wealth Division, ensuring that the end to end HP processes are effectively managed and Planning data integrity is maintained.
- Ensure that the Strategic Plan and Budget financial planning deliverables satisfy Divisional and Group requirements.
- Provide expert financial over-sight for the consolidated Wealth division financials, working closely with the Reporting team to ensure that forward trajectory is aligned to actual reporting and latest rolling forecasts.
Essential Experience
- Proven resilience and ability to work on complex issues, providing solutions and recommendations within tight deadlines.
- Experience of working with Hyperion Planning and of defining and managing system governance.
- Good knowledge of Banking and Wealth Management products, systems and processes preferable.
- Professional Accountancy qualification (5 years PQE).
- Hyperion Planning experience to a high level.
