My client a leading global company have a requirement for an Oracle eBusiness Project Manager to join their team on an initial 12 month contract.

This position will execute project and ad-hoc deliverables related, but not limited to reporting, data-mining, system functionality improvements, and process improvements within Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, and Warehousing using a host of in-house and industry standard applications within a GmP environment with a strong focus on Oracle's E-business Suite of products and enterprise level standard TOPS wide business processes.

Working with project teams made up of users and system owners, as well as working independently, this position will ensure system and process user requirements are met and tasks are accomplished within defined timeframes at the highest quality with attention given to detail and scalability.

The ideal person would have strong inventory experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for project strategy and oversight.
  • Identify areas of improvement with a focus on business processes/systems and translate these opportunities into technical solutions
  • Gather, document, and manage system & process requirements
  • Translate user requirement into functional specifications
  • Assist with project management tasks related to system support and enhancements
  • Assist with validation efforts of system changes including Operational Qualification and Regression Testing as well as Validation Documentation Updates
  • Use informal management skill to work with cross-functional groups and contractors to ensure successful and timely deliverables
  • Project tracking using LiveLink, SharePoint, and MS Project
  • Coordination between internal departments, including Manufacturing, Information Technology, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics and others
  • Act as a secondary point-of-contact for end user support relating to Oracle business systems

EDUCATION

BSc. in a computer related discipline along with 4+ years relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and group speaking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
  • Must be able to work with limited direction and be a self-starter
  • Must have a desire to learn new technologies both by instruction and self-teaching
  • Ability to apply technologies to the business to maximize process performance
  • Strong project management experience and ability to coordinate contract staff.
  • GmP environment experience is desirable.
  • Experience in Oracle E-business Suite of products is essential.
  • Oracle 10 Database or higher experience (Oracle EBS R12).
  • Oracle Inventory experience is essential, Manufacturing experience is an advantage.
  • Some programming experience is highly desirable
  • Super-user understanding of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Access, Project, Powerpoint)
