Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager. The project Manager has to start, manage and finish development projects, ensuring the project deliverables are achieved within agreed time, costs and quality level within agreed boundaries, in compliance with Business Creation and Management (BCaM) Process. The Project manager will lead a customer specific multi-disciplinary project team that handles several development projects in parallel.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Execution
• Execution of Project Management according to the Business Line quality requirements (BCaM, CMMi).
• Creation and maintenance of full scale project plans.
• Report progress and gate passing in the Project Review Board meetings.
• Ensure planned project activities are executed timely and efficiently to meet the production start and release schedule.
• Professional execution of risk management, use of tools such as FMEA and Maturity Matrix.
• Compliance to configuration management system with attention to managing change and controlling the project scope.
• Ensure design and implementation meets DfX requirements.
Team building
• Leads a cross-functional engineering team for product development ( RF design, product & test engineering, quality engineering, applications and operations).
• Inspire, encourage and drive the team members ensuring a high level of motivation and commitment.
• Ensure that problems and issues are openly discussed, effective solutions are defined and implemented.
• Recognise potential and actual team conflict, supporting and coaching the team and individuals, helping them to maintain team focus and achieve solutions together. Interface to Stakeholders
• Alignment with Segment-team and Sales to meet customer requirements.
• Alignment with resource managers on resource-demand and ensure that team members have the tools needed.
• Timely escalation of issues and risks to the segment-team and PRB and taking responsibility to resolve project issues.
• Ensure compliance to product policies and guidelines, quality targets and General Quality Specifications.
• Drive a close co-operation with customers and suppliers during the development project.
• Provide input to product line roadmap for future product developments.

Other specific tasks
• Active participation in improvement activities defined in the project management team.
• Work collaboratively with other project managers to continuously improve personal skills and methods.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Several years experience in directing projects in relevant technological areas (semi-conductor or electronics).
• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary and multi-site teams of technical professionals
• Bachelor’s or University degree in technical discipline (preferably in electronics)
• Knowledge of project management methods, risk management, costs estimation techniques
• PMI certified or similar project management methodology certificate
• Knowledge of project management methods, risk management, costs estimation techniques
• Knowledge and understanding of disciplines with which co-operation takes place
• Directing and motivating of project members. Coaching skills required
• Negotiating skills
• Knowledge of Business Creation and Management (BCaM) processes
• Knowledge of the Capability Maturity Model (CMMi).
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English

• Tuning of the project plan with the Principal
• Arrange agreement with Development Manager and Group Leaders on resources needed.
• Operationally guide employees within the project.
