CITI Recruitment is looking for passionate software programmers to deliver high quality work for the NSW Government
SKILLS REQUIRED :
• Tertiary qualifications in electrical or computer systems engineering or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of and experience in software and/or hardware development and in the use of one or more of the following:
o real time,
o reporting systems,
o object-oriented analysis/design/programming,
o testing,
o configuring, and
o commissioning into operation high availability business critical systems .
• Understanding of embedded, safety critical, high availability, event driven systems
• Demonstrated ability to produce user requirements, software requirements, design documentation,
• Coding, unit testing and user guides in a Microsoft OO UML development environment.
• Experience in database design using Access or SQL, Microsoft Visual C ++ or equivalent Microsoft applications
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
• Work with Team/Project Managers on project specifications to ensure a shared understanding of project scope, budget, time constraints, success indicators, quality, environmental and safety standards.
• Actively contribute to team success by monitoring project plans and scheduled works for Systems projects to ensure they are completed to time, cost, quality and safety standards, as well as satisfying client requirements.
• Maintain a proactive understanding of leading edge technologies, industry standards and market changes and/or developments, so that innovative and cost-effective solutions can be provided to satisfy clients' requirements.
• Consistently deliver efficiency and set a platform for increased commerciality
