*Global Custody Operations Analyst, Investment Banking-Dublin-6 month contract*

Bank of America Merrill Lynch have a requirement for a Global Custody Operations Analyst to be based in their Dublin office. The suitable candidate must have worked within an investment bank previously and have custody and operations experience.

The successful applicant must ensure a high level of client service is provided to both internal and external clients, whilst complying with internal procedures, controls and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
* Process 'Fund of Fund' trades from trade entry to settlement with the administrator.
* Process 'Fund of Fund' Corporate Actions.
* Ensure that static relating to settlement is set up accurately in systems.
* Process exchange traded securities across various markets; knowledge of the full Settlement life cycle is desirable.
* Timely and accurate Cash Management in accordance with Institutional Custody Client and Market deadlines.
* Prepare and Input Project Finance and Loan Services Cash payment instructions, Track and pay quarterly Interest Payments and Commitment fees.
* Verify payment of all Fund Custody FX and swaps.
* Monitor and resolve the team's reconciliation breaks.
* Handle daily queries and investigations from various sources - clients, administrators and internal departments.
* Involvement in Ad hoc and scheduled projects.
* Work closely and develop working relationships with internal areas of production operations and the Business team that the desk supports.
* Comply with all policies and procedures and monitor transactions in line with related legal documentation.

Requirements
* Experience within a Financial Services environment is essential.
* Custody Experience preferred.
* Fund of Fund exposure would be advantageous.
* A strong understanding of Swift formatting is required.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to communicate clearly and precisely in both written and verbal context
* Show a high level of commitment and professional work ethic.
* Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
* Excellent time and priority management skills.
* Be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving.
* Ability to work on own initiative while remaining team focused at all times.
* Team Player -show flexibility and willingness to adapt to a changing environment.
* Strong numerical and MS Office skills, ie excel, word, PowerPoint, visio etc
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload in a changing environment
