We have an exciting opening for an IS Technical Writer position with our progressive client in the Columbia, SC area. This is a long-term contract position. Excellent communication skills required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Interview subject matter experts and technical staff to collect information, prepare written text, and coordinate layout and material organization.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance 'best practices documentation for internal and external use. Build processes for ensuring published documentation is kept current.
- Conduct needs assessments related to technical material development and training. Provide or coordinate special documentation services.
Candidate Requirements:
- Technical writing experience. Work experience needs to include technical document development design experience, as well as experience in RFP/RFI response projects. - Required
- Experience and proficient with MS Word and MS Visio.
- Understanding and/or experience with Networks and Network devices.
