Mechanical Design Engineer, ProE, Creo, Plastics, Electronics enclosure, 9 months, £35ph-£40ph, Cambridgeshire
THE PROJECT:
An established and well recognised Electronics company in Cambridgeshire have an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join them at the very start of a project for the design of a brand new wireless communications device.
For this role you should be an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, who has used the ProE - Creo CAD package. You should have experience design products using plastics, as well as designed for electronic enclosures.
In the R&D team you will be the lead Mechanical Design Engineer, so you should be someone who feels comfortable in this position.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. ProE - Creo CAD experience
2. Designing in plastics
3. An understanding of mould tool design
4. Experience of designing enclosures for electronic/electrical devices
5. Experience of designing mechanisms (this is not essential)
