Procurement Specialist

Description

Seeking a high end analyst who is driven, sharp, and has good business sense to be responsible for managing a card program, supporting policy development, training development and deployment and card management.

Responsibilities:

• Card management requires extended availability and requires disciplined management of exceptions as well as support response to emergencies across the US.
• Lead the development and deployment of on-line reconciliation for the card program (which is currently a manual process).
• Support the development of a card strategy to grow the program to the optimal size.
• Provide analytical leadership for the organizations operations team. This will include the development and operational management of reporting as well as automation and outsourcing of standard reports that have been well tested.
• Support standard weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for operational support of the larger indirect procurement organization.
• Also, special projects will be required as directed.

• Advanced Excel skills and the ability or willingness to learn how to use dash boarding tools to present information in an intuitive manner.

• Fluency (able to speak, read, write, and comprehend fluently) in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and ask questions to clarify when needed.
• Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal, analytical, leadership, and project management skills to develop close working relationships with others both inside and outside Customer.
• Business Analytics (the ability to manage analytics to reporting to dash boarding in order to deliver the most relevant information in a timely manner and to inspire action and attention at the right time).

Education/Experience: An undergraduate degree from a college or university. MBA highly desired. 3 to 5 years relevant experience required. Experience leading projects as well as teams, suppliers, and customers to effective solutions. Card Program experience also desired.
