Responsibilities
- Graphic Design and production, from concept to publication, within our established design mode for print collateral such as posters, postcards, and multi-page booklets.
- Help develop and maintain our online presence by creating graphics and content across our social media sites, our own websites, and email campaigns.
- Create and provide branded graphics to outside partners as needed.
- Track projects, coordinate with project managers, contribute to team strategy and planning.
- Work with internal clients and outside vendors to get jobs done.
- Any combination of education and experience which would provide an appropriate graphic design background
- Fluency in design software, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
- Familiar with Dropbox, Basecamp, and MS Office suite.
- Expert understanding of Mac and Windows platforms, font management, email, and other computer bits.
- Understanding of professional print techniques regarding color space, paper types, and equipment.
- Fluency with social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to learn our workflows, naming conventions, and project management systems.
- Reliability and ability to work solo. You know how to get things done without constant coaching.
- Knowledge of audio/video editing, web programming, building email templates, or hi-res photo retouching is a bonus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Highly organized and able to work on multiple projects concurrently
