A global financial firm, with a large and growing Chicago presence is seeking a Senior Level and Lead Software Engineer to join their Agile development team. The team will be responsible for the design and development of an entirely new real time system, which is vital to the firms success in the market. Utilizing open source frameworks and a variety of cutting edge technologies, this developer will be creating a new, top of the line web application.The firm is looking for a highly innovative and creative team player who is looking to not only contribute, but also expand their technical horizons and broaden their skillset.
The strongest candidates will possess the following skills/experience:
- Expertise in UI technologies-JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Frameworks such as ExtJS or Backbone
- Strong understanding of Restful Web Services
- jQuery
- Deep understanding of experience design and graphic design
- Strong knowledge of Java, or other back-end technologies
- Agile Development experience
