Software EngineerMy client, a market leader in Medical Devices based in Indiana, now has a contract opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer working with embedded systems. Based on your background this position pays $40 to $50 per hour and will be a 12 month contract.
This corporation takes innovative approaches to manufacturing medical technologies for the medical device space. They are intent on reconstructing traditional technologies in order to come up with more proficient systems. Focused on a team standpoint, the department will expand development on a variety of embedded projects in the upcoming years.
As Senior Software Engineer you will be working with your team to create and design new wireless technologies for existing products. You will also continuously develop software and collaborate with the test team to troubleshoot throughout the term of the project. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your skill set in embedded software across multiple languages.
Key requirements for this Software Engineer position are:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5 to 10 years of experience
- Experience with C, C#
- Background in embedded Linux OS
- Understanding of embedded C device
Desired skills include:
- Knowledge of CAN network
- Windows CE
- Medical device or regulated industry experience
