Description
Looking for an Enterprise Architect that provides technical leadership to junior staff and undertakes difficult software engineering projects involving multiple technology disciplines that may impact multiplebusiness units.
ESM Specialist manages the design, implementation, and maintenance of ESM Software Solutions across different technologies, such as Networks, Servers, and Applications to ensure availability and services for all Central Operations (Command Centers,System Administrators) and our Business Partners.
Specific responsibilities:
- Keeping Updated on New Changing Enterprise Software Features on a regular basis to leverage the best of breed tools
- Integration of Different software for best of breed solutions (ie NetBackup, HP SIM, SCOM, Autosys)
- Involved in projects as a team member and will drive forward internal project initiatives.
- Maintain and monitor compliance to corporate security policies; Administrative Accounts use, Anti - virus, Patch status,
Services etc.
- Ensure all corporate processes are adhered to ensuring changes to the enterprise service infrastructure are fully
documented following the best practice principles of ITIL.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field required - Certifications may be substituted for degree.
Experience
- 8+ years work experience with Systems Management and Monitoring in a global production environment
- 5+ years experience of Software, Network, and Java/.NET Applications
Required
-Advanced Programming / Scripting Knowledge in PERL
- Integrations between Enterprise Software within CLI/API/DB/SNMP/etc (ie NetBackup, HP SIM, SCOM, Autosys,
MSSQL, Oracle, VCenter, etc)
- Web Server Management and Web Interface Design using HTML, PERL, Apache
- Enterprise Database Installation and Setup
- Advanced Database modeling and Data Parsing and Mining with SQL and CLI/API on Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL
- Innovative Data Extraction methods (ie SQL, API, XML, Scripts)
- Ability to troubleshoot within the Windows, UNIX VMWare platforms
- Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
- Mentor junior level resources by assisting to develop their skills and transfer knowledge.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong ability to negotiate and manage expectations of customers
- Manage escalations of incidents issues coordinating resources appropriately
