Key Responsibilities:

-Reporting directly to the Director of Statistics and Analytics

-Execute tasks in various environments and frameworks such as Statistical programming, microsimulation, and decision aid development

- Provide support for writing technical reports and peer-reviewed manuscripts

-Write queries to extract the datasets according to specifications of inclusion and exclusion criteria

-Convert analysis implementation plans and specifications into working programs

-Collaboration daily with a team of nationally recognized health economists, policy experts, clinicians, analysts, research associates, and other programmers

-Perform quality assurance and control procedures on your own and others' programs

-Use and develop programs to aid in the completion of operationally complicated tasks

Necessary Experience:

-BS or MS (preferred) in Public Health, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Gerontology, Economics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Applied Statistics, or relevant field (preferred emphasis in Observational Human Health Research)

- Experience with at least one of the following: administrative health insurance claim data, administrative hospital data, electronic health record data, registry data (SEER< SEER-Medicare, etc.)

-Thorough experience running stimulations with C++

-Exceptionally skilled in statistical programming (SAS, Stata are required) and SQL language (SAS/SQL, PostgreSQL, Greenplum, MySql, etc.)

-Experience with survey data (NHANES, MEPS, NHIS, etc.), weighted data, clinical trial data

-Econometric and statistical computing using Ox is a plus
