Description
Clinical Informatics AnalystProvides leadership to highly visible, sensitive and multi-faceted clinical projects. Responsible for the successful management and production turnover of projects to production. Responsible for development, implementation, support, maintenance of clinical systems and clinical standards within the Clinical Information System team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, (RN, California license preferred) or Advanced degree in Health Care Informatics related fields such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Information Systems, Health Care Administration, Business.
- RN, MD, RT or PharmD
- Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills to lead large projects, teams and/or meetings crossing multiple departments and/or divisions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a matrixed team environment, utilize effective team relationship skills and interact at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge in fundamentals of hospital organization, management techniques, JCAHO, HIPAA and Title 22 requirements are required.
- Understanding of the health care patient administration, clinical and business systems
- Strong computer skills and experience with clinical information systems development and/or implementation. Demonstrated ability to develop and write policies and procedures and to interpret complex regulatory requirements
- Experience of 5 years as a clinician or practicing clinician in a patient care setting (preferably acute) within the past 10 years
- Epic Willow certification
- Experience working at a children's hospital
