A large international EPC client on the westside of Houston is in need of engineers of all disciplines for a substanical amount of LNG project work they have available.
Basic Function
Responsible for planning and conducting work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adoption and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
Assists in the development of new approaches to problems encountered.
Works as a lead engineer for a small to large.
Accountabilities
Plans, schedules, conducts and co-ordinates detailed phases of engineering work as a lead engineer in a large scale project, or as a lead engineer in a moderate or small project. Directs personnel in order to achieve project technical requirements in accordance with the project policy.
Performs work, which involves conventional engineering practices, but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, suitability of standard materials, and difficult co-ordination requirements.
Ensures effective coordination within the engineering group, the project team and other groups.
Ensures that the execution policy, designs and specifications reflect minimum overall cost through engineering, procurement and construction in accordance with the project policy.
Approve design documents prepared by engineers.
Technical and Academic Requirements
BSc Degree in Engineering or Equivalent
10 to 15 years or more of progressive applicable experience
