Collaborate with business leads and business analyst in gathering business requirements and defining design specificationsTranslate technical and functional user requirements into technical solutions
Work with external vendor to install and configure Oracle Health Science Clinical Development Analytics during implementation.
Create technical deliverables needed for system roll-out
Plan and participate in system testing: installation qualification, unit test, smoke test, and functional qualification.
Proactive and diligent in identifying risks regarding technical issues, scope creeps, timelines
Partner with business analyst and BI COE lead and consult with external vendor to define and enforce data warehouse and BI standards. Design scalable and reusable data models
Provide technical analysis on requirement changes during implementation
Define data dependencies between source systems (Siebel Clinical and Oracle Clinical) and target outcomes (data warehouse, BI reporting etc.)
Work with infrastructure group and external vendor to resolve any technical issues during implementation.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Technical knowledge and experience in Oracle Health Science products : Siebel Clinical, Clinical Development Analytics (CDA) and Oracle Clinical/Remote Data Capture applications
8+ years application experience in design, development, testing ,and production release.
6+ years development experience in data warehouse, ETLs, Business Intelligence and analytic reporting using Informatica and OBIEE.
Experience in data warehousing such as dimensional modelling, star and snowflake schemas, data marts, fact and dimension tables identification, and OLAP.
Experience in providing end-to-end business intelligence solution by dimensional modeling design, developing and configuring OBIEE Repository (RPD), Interactive Dashboards, OBIEE Answers, security implementation, Analytics Metadata objects, Web Catalog Objects (Dashboard, Pages, Folders, Reports) and schedulingiBots
Extensive experience in installing and setting up OBIEE, configuring Informatica servers and Data warehouse Administration Console (DAC) and DAC scheduling.Experience in creating mappings, mapplets, mapping wizards and reusable Transformations using Informatica Power Center with maintenance
Experience in both Windows and Linux operating systems.Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Experience developing systems following System Development Life Cycle methodology in FDA-regulated industry (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Biotechnology), prefer in clinical study and development areaKnowledge in government laws and regulations around electronic records and systems in clinical research area is a plus, such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GCP and HIPAA.
