The Inventory Control Analyst (ICA) oversees the accuracy and availability of inventory by managing the cycle count program and supply/demand for all parts from raw materials to end items. This includes regular cycle counts, research, reconciliation and management reporting, as well as, recommendations for improving inventory processes to increase inventory accuracy, optimization, and efficiency. The ICA is the organization's single-point-of-contact with Supply Chain Management/Internal Suppliers and Manufacturing on ensuring a continuous, uninterrupted flow of materials by evaluating supply/demand of raw materials over the forward-looking planning horizon. A strong understanding of the Manufacturing System and process flow is required. Inventory optimization/reduction efforts are spearheaded by the ICA and s/he provides leadership in cross-functional teams on associated materials planning and scheduling efforts. The ICA is also responsible for publishing the various monthly management reports, administrating in-house program and other duties to assist the Materials Management manager.

Responsibility:

Weekly/monthly management of Cycle Count program: includes processing count sheets, input of counts, variance reconciliation, analyzing processes, problem solving with peers/cross-functional teams and publishing reports. Synchronize various databases and lead cross-functional teams in related efforts. Align with SOX/Auditing partners on best practices and guidelines.

Weekly/monthly management of inventory availability and forward-looking supply/demand for raw materials to end items: includes Safety Stock analyses, optimal inventory level, and overall materials availability/issues management. Identify/mitigate/evaluate risks associated w/ Product Life Cycle status and decisions including EOL/sun-setting, New Product Introduction, and in-sourcing/supplier changes.

Publish weekly/monthly Inventory Reports and verify all documentation is processed according to procedures and policies. Maintain issue logs, research/resolve discrepancies, clean up reports. Identify causes of discrepancy and manage/implement/suggest improvements as appropriate.

Participate/lead/communicate continuous improvement efforts associated with materials forecasting, availability, and inventory record accuracy. Partner w/ Mfg Ops, SCM, and other teams as required.
