Description
Responsibilities:- Mining product data associated with the firm's product usage for their software platforms
- Develop SQL Server applications
- Developing SSRS packages to stage data for data analysis, reporting, and mining
- Be the SSRS subject matter expert for the data warehouse team
- Lead the database team in the implementation of a SSRS reporting portal for the purpose of client report delivery as well as an organization wide BI service.
- Analyses data for clients, BI, and senior management teams
- Implementing SQL Server best practices in database coding and design
- Database tuning and monitoring performance monitoring and tuning
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or equivalent technical field
- 3-5 years of high level experience in database development (SQL Server)
- 3+ years of experience working with ETL tools and analytical modelling techniques (SSRS)
- 2+ years of extensive experience writing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers and user defined functions (two table joins, etc.)
- SSIS and Dundas Dashboard Server nice to have
- Experience within the financial or trading industry is a plus
