A market leading healthcare business is seeking a talented Information Privacy Manager on an interim 3-6 month project. This well recognised healthcare practice is very well regarded and credited with healthcare excellence, practicing primarily out of San Francisco. In this instrumental role, you will be responsible for developing, updating and following the various Ciber data privacy policies, procedures and documentation, while maintaining an understanding and awareness of International privacy requirements.Main responsibilities include:
-Review contractual documents to identify data privacy risks and developing mitigation plans.
-Design, implement and validate cost effective data privacy processes and solutions to meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
-Function as an internal consultant on data privacy topics and assist on information security issues.
-Stay in touch with industry trends and regulatory updates. -Develop privacy plans as required to meet the specifics of an individual consulting engagement.
-Develop, review and update documentation as necessary.
The preferred candidate will have proven experience in data Privacy and/or information Security experience, preferably within a healthcare environment. Qualifications required include; Bachelor degree in information systems (or related area), CIPP (preferred); CISSP, CISA or equivalent experience (optional).
