One of the most successful Investment Banks in the world is hiring for a Senior Software Engineer at their Chicago branch! Though this is a development role for someone with expansive core java experience, the primary function of the job is to design and develop code for automated testing. Experience working on the management of application builds is a major plus, though not necessary in terms of experience. Ideal qualifications and experience criteria include:- Extensive Java and OOP skills
- Testing frameworks on both the server and UI side
- Test automation platforms
- SQL, familiarity with XML, and working on a Linux platform
- Rudimentary knowledge of middleware interfaces
- Great scripting skills in at least one well-known language
- Knowledge of any JVM language
- SDLC and testing methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work exceptionally well independently, as well as on a team
